Fascinated and involved with property since first completing his real estate papers in 2005. David Cruikshank then proceeded whilst working full time to study through Massey University for his Diploma in Business Studies (Real Estate endorsed), attaining this plus his AREINZ qualification in 2011.

Having steadily climbed each rung of the sales ladder, David now proudly holds the position of Property Manager with Western First National.

Friendly, approachable, well organised, working hard and being reliable means David has the ability to always do that extra bit for his clients, in an area that has such a diverse group of people.

“There’s no question that property management is ‘all about people. Be it a landlord and one of their biggest financial investments or a tenant where the rental property is their home, service is paramount.

Our team manage a wide spectrum of properties at all levels and dedication, attention to detail and advanced levels of experience enable landlords and tenants to feel confident in the service we provide.”

“I understand the importance of customer service and I’ll look after your investment so that you don’t have to. It’s about getting a feel for a property and the life it can create for its new owner or tenant. I thoroughly enjoy my role and I believe in the phrase “our property managers act like they own the place”.

“Other than a wonderful O.E. in Ireland, Taranaki has always been home. I love the gentle hustle, its vibrancy, hospitality and culture. Weekends as a child were spent on the farm, on the beach, picnics, fish ‘n’ chips or climbing our stunning mountain. Today for relaxation; I love to spend my free time with my wonderful family”.

“It is always good to meet people face to face when it comes to something as important as your home so whether you have properties to rent out and have managed, or are looking for a ‘hard to come by’ rental, call or email me anytime or drop into the office for a chat.”
